Our go-to café in Newport! We come to Bwe Café all the time, and it’s easily one of our favorite spots in the area. The staff is always lovely, making the experience even better. The coffee is delicious, and the food is just as great—we especially love the Bwekfast sandwich and the chocolate and almond croissants. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax or get some work done. Highly recommend!
Really really like this spot and would highly recommend to anyone in the Newport / Hoboken area. One of my go to spots over the weekend for breakfast. Enjoy the coffee and sandwiches here. Would suggest the Bwekfast sandwich which comes with the honey sriracha sauce (amazing) and the Matcha Latte. The Chai Latte is also really good. Definitely give this spot a try if you haven't already!
My favorite coffee shop in Jersey City Excellent coffee mostly sourced from Haiti, friendliest and collest barristas EVER, hipster crowd, weekly events, and the list goes on and on and on... In terms of breakfast options, snacks and quick bites, I am happpy to report that healthy, vegan and gluten-free options are available. Simplistic and contemporary interior design. Last but not least: Bwe Kafe is child and dog friendly! November 2024 update: new items on the menu, including bowls and avocado toast!
Lovely internet cafe hot spot. Came here on a sunny afternoon and all the tables were taken - plenty of room. I ordered the Japanese cold brew and was in heaven - it was strong but not acidic. I like that they also had agave as a sweetener. I’d definitely come back here to soak in the ambiance and lovely decor.
Ordered iced Matcha latte, not that strong a bit milky, if you like a stronger one extra shot is needed. It was blended nicely and tasted smooth. The chocolate croissant was nice. Overall, pleasant vibes, great location.

Best cafe in Jersey City. Really has the best staff. All of the management is amazing. Every Single person that works there that I can think of is extremely friendly, very good with conversation, and always smiling. The old look, with all white aesthetic, was modern and calming. Now the painting on the walls give me anxiety and distracts from the ambiance.
